Letter of Engagement

Duties of Jerry W. Corbin, Attorney at Law and this website:

  1. To provide legally correct forms for the individual who desires to do his own legal work with assistance from Attorney Jerry W. Corbin.
  2. If purchased, prepare all legal instruments for the legal subject from data provided by client – followed by a detailed telephone conference with the client about the legal subject matter.
  3. Jerry W. Corbin shall have no obligation to appear in court for the client.
  4. The Attorney-Client Privilege as defined by the statutes and case law of the State of Texas shall be strictly adhered to by Attorney Jerry W. Corbin and party purchasing services under this website.
  5. Jerry W. Corbin relies on the client’s input of their own personal data.
  6. The duties of Jerry W. Corbin toward the client terminate at the time of completion of the instruments and/or finalization of the telephone conference.
  7. Attorney Jerry W. Corbin makes no warranties for the final outcome regarding the client’s legal situation.
  8. All costs of court and any other expenses are the sole responsibility of client.

Client’s Responsibility:

  1. It is necessary that client read the Privacy Policy, State Bar of Texas statement and this Engagement Letter.
  2. If client uses this website, the client agrees to all the terms and conditions of this engagement letter.
  3. Client must provide accurate and concise personal data.
  4. If the client does not desire to disclose social security number or other sensitive information, it may be hand-written on the final document after client prints the document.
  5. Client needs to be prepared with all necessary information: names, dates, etc., in order to be ready at time of purchase to provide your information for the documents.
  6. Client needs to read all instructions including time lines etc. before beginning the process.
  7. The Attorney-Client privilege extends only between Party Petitioner and Law Office of Jerry W. Corbin.
